About Nuclea

Royal Nuclea vzw. was founded on 27 June 1959 by staff members of SCK-CEN.

Several companies in the area (SCK CEN, VITO, JRC) currently contribute financially, making NUCLEA a staff association of 3 companies.

The now more than 2,000-member staff association wishes to realise its objectives - namely: promoting cultural, sports and social life for its members - in a dynamic way.

SCK CEN provides NUCLEA with infrastructure (sports hall, football pitch, tennis courts, marina, swimming lagoon, golf course, etc.).

Together with the contribution of the participating companies and with the own contribution of the members and guests, NUCLEA donates a unique offer of sport, relaxation and culture to its members.
